If you have read any of Jim Shea's post you will know to go to GM Parts direct and order the gm part for $67 plus shipping or whatever vendor sells gm parts or go to a local dealer and pay whatever they say for the GM steering coupler. Don't skimp on something very important
Jim Shea says that there is a problem with all the rebuild kits that the vendors sell - none of them use shoulder bolts. You should buy a new correct rag joint from GMDirect.
Keep your original parts. There is probably nothing wrong with the metal components and you may need them if the "genuine GM" parts [from China but in a GM box] don't appear to be the same.

I got mine from a Chevy dealer in Az . You do not get the nuts and bolts with the package so save everything. The part I got appeared to be exactly the same that I took off. Hopefully that is what you get from this vendor.
