One of our club members had his '62 restored by Jamison's Corvette in Charleston SC and they did a great job. Expect it to take longer than what you want though. Here's a link to their website:

Good luck and take plenty of pictures of the progress of your restoration.

If you are going to spend 75-100 K you will have more money invested than the car is worth. For 50 k you could buy an A++ car and pick it up next week. And still have a bucket of cash left over.
I restored my car and have far more in it than I could ever sell it for (especially in todays market), and I did most of the work.
Just one guys opnion....

Is you car that bad that it needs a "Frame Off"?
Are you looking to build a 100 point # matching car or just a very nice driver/local show type?
If you don't have some deep emotional attachment to the Vette then sell it and buy one in the condition you like. You'll save a boat load of cash and a ton of frustration.

I had a shop put the interior in my 71 and was told it would cost around 2500 it ended up about 5000. I had supplied the interior so to do a frame off would be very expensive. The shop that did my work was talked about on this thread.

Chuck Berge - One of the most repsected in the country.

I've seen a number of the cars he has restored and they all look like they are still sitting in the dealers showroom.

If you want it done right bring a dump truck full of money. Depending on shape figure about 75-100k or more.
For my money I would go to Tony's Corvette in Gaithersburg, MD.
When I cannot do something that is where I go.
He is the best and has gone something like 60 for 60 or 80 for 80 on first attempts to Top flight.

Gotta be for love of the car. I can't imagine getting it back any time soon even if it were a rare version.

Ditto. If I had enough money to take it to anyone else, I'd buy all the equipment to do everything myself and have money left over. But, when it comes to my Corvette, I only trust....ME.
