Don't get to post here very often due to I work so much but could not resist adding a photo or two to this thread. I also realize I have not properly introduced myself or if this is even the place to do so but here goes.
My name is Tom and this was my fathers 71 he bought new in April of 71 so the car has been in my family a very long time. When my father passed in June of '05 I brought the car from Denver Co to my home here in Tulsa and had to do a pretty thorough freshening up to get her back to looking good. Was so close to original that all I really had to do is repaint from black to the original white and the rest was just major cleaning since the car sat for almost 25 years untouched.
That is a tuff act to follow, but here is my NCRS (Not Correctly Restored Society) version!!!!
Look in the background, it hasn't been driven in a while!!! I actually backed it out to snap a few shots to put it up for sale. I kinda hope nobody makes a legit offer and I will be enjoying again once the snow melts!!!
