Wow!!! some beautiful 69’s that I have not seen before. I really need to get some new pictures taken, but here is what I have to offer. I guess there are a few new members that may not have seen it.
I like these seats, too. I got early C4 seats in mine. Comfortable but somehow doesn't look as good as yours. I'm actually planning to put my old seats back in the car and now I find myself looking at yours...
Fonz69, I have been thinking of your vette for a couple days now. Can we see pics of the power plant? The color on it is prob one of the best I have ever seen. May I ask what you pay for a paint job like that?
I was visiting all the Photo Thread's that were started of late....and this thread just knocks me out!!!!!!!!!! Some of the prettiest cars here on the forum!!!!!!!!!
Kudo's to all that shared their rides!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The motor started out with a 800hp 540 with way too much cam, I had it in my jet boat with a blower and it made over 1000hp.
This last year I decided to de-tune the car back to the original 427 it was supposed to have in it. I kept the Dart aluminum heads on it so the weight would be close in the front and I would not have to re-adjust my front suspension. This 427 made almost 600hp on the dyno so its still fun to drive
The paint job is another story, I did all the work on the frame off and helped out when I could on spraying the car like the jambs and taping off the stripe but my Dad gets all the credit for the 18 stage paint job that is on the car. It helps he has been a autobody tech since the early 70's.
So the paint and clear ran about $350......Thanks Dad
First pic is the 540 that was in my boat (minus the blower) that went into the vette the first year after the frame off.
Next ones are of the 427 on the dyno and the install last year.
Carb since then has been reworked by Gary Williams and is a 770cfm
A couple of pics of the car before it went to bed for winter
vintage-racer...that is an absolutely gorgously wicked looking car! I love the bullet tail lights too...LED's?
Daxxed thing looks wicked with the black side pipes, wheels, slick paint job just sitting there. Looks like a big black snake that could give you one heck of a bite. Great photos and car..427 punch too it looks like.
