I am just coming down the final stretch of a 4 year frame off,
complete build from a basket case of parts, finally have a picture that looks like a complete car again !
Took my father for a ride a few weeks ago. He really enjoyed the exhaust note.
Rust Free birdcage. One of the cleanest I have ever seen.
Unmolested 427/390. Has never been rebuilt or out of the car. Working Smog, Working factory AC. Will put ignition shielding back after I play with the timing a bit more
Factory Key cutout numbers in grease pencil.
Factory grease pencil under carpet showing factory AC and Factory Side Pipes
Tank Sticker is very legible and lists all options
Hey Roma
I've followed your sidepipe restoration thread and let me tell you, they turned out fantastic. I haven't gathered the courage yet to tackle my originals. I've had them off and back on the car a number of times, but still haven't taken them apart. How many hours of your time and how much did it cost you?
This picture kinda sums up what makes a '69 special out of all the beautiful C3s...gills, louvre trim, sidepipes, Stingray badge

Film? I hear Film? Are we going to see the results?
The stills are great. Love the last picture

Thanks. Eventually it will be online for the viewing. Probably mid summer. It's in production right now. It's around a 15 minute just a short but when you are doing everything yourself and new to the craft it's a loooong process. I'll be sure to post a link when it's up.
Ok, I got a new one too: This was taken last Sunday on a small airport in Central Switzerland. The Super Constellation had just landed in the background after taking some tight turns through the mountains. This one is owned by a group of private Swiss enthusiasts and as far as I know is the only one left flying passengers world wide. Something else, isn't it? And I think my 69 looks just perfect in front of it.
