Default led tail lights

Has anyone had any luck with the LED tail light conversions?, I bought a set from a major Corvette parts supply, however they will not plug into the female recepticle, these are not just the bulbs , but the whole conversion . The male end has a plastic portion that will not let the pins go in deep enough to spin and lock. I have two c-3 cars and will not fit either car, the company told me how many they had sold last year, but do I have the only two in the nation that these lights will not work in??

Problem solved, another bad batch, seems this happened about 18 months ago, , got resolved and now is happening again. Is an easy fix however

Question: If you do Led tailights I understand you have to change the flasher. What about the front turn signals? Do you have to convert them to LED's too to use the same flasher. I like the LED lights in the rear but am not sure about the flasher as noted above.

I am not sure about the front, I have used the flasher for the rear and not changed the fronts to LED and everything is working, You may need to check with one of the techs from the people who sell these to get your best answer.

You do not have to use LEDs front & rear. I'm running rear only too. The cheapest flasher replacement that I know of and it works fine, is the NAPA HD flasher. It's basically a trailer kit flasher that forces it to flash with the reduced load of the LEDs compared to the filament bulbs. I have one of the "expensive" led flashers laying in a drawer from one of the sponsors here on the forum it does not work for the LED rear only set up and the cheap NAPA flasher works fine.

Same thing happened to me; I bought the "special" LED flasher, and it did not work! I used the NAPA HD flasher, and it worked fine.
