brakes sticking
I have a 76 and after driving and everthing heats up the front brakes start to stick.
do the front calipers have to match. Driving me nuts

When they get old the flexible rubber brake hoses tend to swell and then the springs in the calipers don't have enough strength to push the fluid back through them. They basically can become like a one way valve.

I would inspect all of the brake calipers and lines as well as the master cylinder. Every time I have a brake issue, I make sure nothing else is going to be a problem. If the vehicle sits a lot, the calipers pucks could be sticking from corrosion inside them.
