Default Rear window trim molding

My rear window trim molding is pretty dinged up on my '78 coupe. Does anyone know who sells new moldings for these cars or who could get the dents out and polish them so they look as good as new.

The 78-82 rear window moldings are no longer available. They were discountinued over 10 years ago by GM, and no one has repro-ed them.

Depending on where you are, you should be able to find someone who straightens and polishes stainless. Many chrome plating shops can do it.

I know of a couple people here in NJ that can do syainless work, but you need to find someone to drop it off with, if possible. The large main lower piece is very hard and expensive to ship. The only way to safely ship one is to make a wood crate for it, and because of the size of it, it ships UPS Oversize 2, which will cost about $50.

Thanks for the info. There's a chrome plater not to far away so I'll try him.
