Just for fun,2 things I remember from one very strict English teacher , onomatopoeia and when not to use the word "at".
I would say "where's my pencil at" and she would say (while smacking me in the back of my head) "your pencil is behind the AT.

What do you suppose Chevrolet meant when they included a "check gages" light on my 2000 Z28 Camaro? "Toke Up Dude" might have been more direct.
