Hi Doug,
Yes, those pictures certainly show a nice solid frame and running gear.
I'll bet you're pretty pleased with what you're seeing.
Thanks for taking the time to post them.
Regards,
Alan

That does look like it's in very good shape. Puts mine to shame.

Pretty nice underbody. I especially like the bushings that are visible. They all appear to be in good shape. I couldn't see the rear body bushings but mine had to be changed as they were visibly sort of like cauliflower as any water off the wheels tended to get thrown on them. The rear suspension bushings we also changed but I would not have changed them if they looked like yours. Nice beginning point for you.

It is a nice frame. I looked a several cars that had big massive thick rust flakes chunking off, not sure how much of the frames were still steel.
We traced the rear end clunk down to a bad inboard half shaft U joint, so all 4 will be changed in the next 10 days.
A trip to the high pressure do it your self car wash is in order to get all the dust and crud off the frame, first.
Thanks,
Doug

Excellent pics and frame you got there. Now for my piece of mind, get that Fram filter off of there and in the trash.
