Default 68 Vert frame finish

Starting to replace my top and it looks like the frame needs a quick rattle can touch up. Some of it looks semi and some gloss. Suggestions on paint finish. Seems like GM used Semi flat on everything.

Semi-flat black, satin black, or John Deere Blitz black. Or you could take it all apart and get it powder coated for a small fortune.

Rattle can should do. To tell you the truth I doubt I will ever raise the damn thing except to store it during the winter.

Where do I find the John Deere paint? Guessing the John Deere store?

Yup. Rattle cans, or in quarts, and gallons. The rattle can paint is really good quality. I need to do my frame also. I have a new top, and so that project is on the short list.

You made a liar out of me. In a thread a while back, I said no convertible owner would use the term "vert."

wire wheel in a drill to take off the dirt & loose rust, then brush on One Step ("The Rust Killer"), let that dry for a day, then Eastwood Chassis Black. I use gloss but they sell satin. Not cheap but each rattle can goes a long way.
