I was searching You Tube for videos to get ideas for a body removal. I came across this one. I was looking for ideas on how to support the front end when its in the air... anyway I came across this one that i think you guys will enjoy.....The only word i understood was Transmission at about 3:04.
Dang, it took eight of them? Whimps. BTW, if you are using some form of body dolly, I simply too two pieces of 1" pipe, smashed the ends flat and bolted them from the hood mount hole to the lower part of the dolly. Worked great and kept the front end from wagging. Plus you can get to everything.
These guys messed up. They didn't support the front end. Did you see the front clip sagging up and down? You can bet they cracked it in the front door jambs between the top hinge and the windshield. Ouch!!

They said "How the heck do the Americans do this? They make it look so easy. They probably made them like this to get back at us for Pearl Harbor. Get the **** off my foot you bastage!" Etc.

Yup, I noticed that also. The frame looked pretty good as far as you could see in the video.

look at the vedio again they have a chain hoist around the radiator support and you can hear one of them raising it after they already lifted the body
I commend that young asian fella. Getting ready to restore an American icon....good investment in fun. He's a Vette enthusiast so that makes him one of us. We should see if there's anyway we could help him instead of displaying ridicule.
