Hi Z,
I've had good luck with VHT, too.
I've also used the engine paint from Quanta (the gas tank company) and a paint I bought at Carlisle last summer called 'Motor Coater' made by KBS Coatings.
Try to make sure the paint you buy withstands heat of 500-600 degrees.
Regards,
Alan

Tried several that were too red and then found Tempo which seemed right. Was hi-temp engine paint.

Hi FR,
NICE!!!
Do you realize someone took the hood and carb?
They must be quite decent people though since they put tape on the intake so the rain won't get in the engine!

Alan

Hi Alan,
Do you think that might be the problem with my air/fuel mixture?

Hi fr,
The air/fuel system doesn't seem to have any moving parts, so any 'mixture' problem could only be caused by adhesive failure causing the engine to run lean.
Good Luck!
Regards,
Alan

Factory correct...at least according to a 30 year Bloomington judge. The mask used on the engine line covered most of the intake manifold only. Maybe I got a little carried away.
