I mounted the C5 seats directly to the floor using the mounts from my Corbeau seat try. The seats didn't fit so I sold them at a big loss but kept the mounts. The seats are not adjustable anymore but so what? Super easy way to mount the C5 seats. I now have more head and knee room. Big time!

Thanks for the pics. This looks way better than the Vega wheel. The dish doesn't look too deep either. Is the arm room acceptable?

No problems with arm reach on my 77, but I think they moved the wheel away from the driver's seat in 77. It was closer in 76 (I think). The Grant wheel is a smaller diameter, so this could be an issue if you don't have power steering.

N37 Tilt/Tele was optional until the 1980 model year when it became standard equipment.

So this beggs the question, how long did they use the "Vega" type wheel on the standard column?

Artic, I've seen a 79 with a standard column, and like the other years, with a standard column, you got the "vega" wheel mentioned here, although I hate that name. My Z28 had the same wheel and I liked it. Also, on 79's with manual windows, the stud for the crank handle was punched right through the map pocket on the door panels, making them useless
