A/C hose question
I'm in the process of trying to get my A/C working for the summer and have a question hopefully someone can help me with. I guess the PO spliced the hose from the condenser to the compressor. i have had the car (76) for about eight years, and in that time the A/C has worked. Apparantly the PO did this because it looks as if the hood would have to be removed to be able to screw it into the regular connection. Now the question. Is this splice ok or will there be a chance of pressure building up causing problems? A professional A/C man has gone through the system before and never mentioned it.
