Hi Gregg,
I especially like the holes drilled in each rear bumper for what may have been a trailer hitch.
At FIRST glance the car looks quite nice, then you begin to see how much it's been 'massaged'.
Enjoyed looking!
Regards
Alan
It has several glaring deficiencies or modifications from stock parts for 69`s......starting a list of unmolested changes....right off the bat is the head-lite protectors in the grill.....next....

Maybe the seller's definition of unmolested was there were no offspring produced?
Shame about the lower valance getting busted up off loading from the trailer but as been observed, there's much work still ahead to smooth out the wrinkles on that unit.
Here is what he wrote back to me:
"Dear corvetteload,
Well, that's what I love about eBay and America in general, everyone is entitled to their own opinions although sometimes they should keep those opinions to themselves. Thanks for your view. NMow please, let me go back to looking and and selling "molested" cars and you can go back to molesting ????? (insert children, animals, etc.)
So, if your car has never been molested and you replace the correct hood with an unmolested big block hood, is it still unmolested? And, while we're at it, how many angels CAN dance on the head of a pin?
Someone also molested the snot out of the left side windshield trim. It aint there! And.....if the trim was going to be replaced, why would he feature it in a close-up photo? Don't you usually do that to show either a big positive (hyping the vehicle) or a big negative (honesty)? It wouldn't be either if they'll be on the unmolested vehicle when it ships.
I've sometimes referred to my Vette as "unmolested", but I generally mean that it is all as shipped from St. Louis in 1969 and nobody's screwed with it. BTW, mine has the BB hood too, but that's because it's a big block.
Looks like your point was taken to heart... Scroll to the bottom of the ebay ad..
PLEASE DISREGARD THE WORD "UN-MOLESTED" IN THE DESCRIPTION AS IT MAKES THE CAR APPEAR TO HAVE NEVER BEEN WORKED ON. THIS IS SIMPLY NOT TRUE. THE CAR HAS HAD EXTENSTIVE WORK DONE TO IT TO MAKE IT A BETTER DRIVER INCLUDING THE ADDITION OF SPECIAL FIBERGLASS LEAFS SPRINGS IN THE REAR TO CUT DOWN ON THE ROAD NOISE THAT IS TYPICAL OF THESE CARS. WE APOLOGIZE AGAIN FOR THE WORD "UN-MOLESTED". THANKS AND HAPPY BIDDING ON THIS "STUNNING" CAR!

That's too funny!!!!!!!!!
And to add insult to injury...this is his Q & A portion:
Q: Please give me your definition of unmolested. If that car is not molested, my mothers a virgin! good luck! Apr-09-11
A: MY BAD. YOU'RE RIGHT. I GUESS WHAT I SHOULD HAVE SAID IS SINCE THIS STUNNING AUTOMOBILE UNDERWENT EXTENSIVE WORK, IT HAS NOT BEEN ABUSED. AS A MATTER OF FACT, THE OWNER HAS SUCH A NICE COLLECTION OF CARS, THIS ONE WAS THE LEAST DRIVEN SO I CONVINCED HIM TO SELL IT. MY BAD AGAIN. IN NO WAY DID I MEAN TO INSULT THE "MOLESTERS" OF THE WORLD. I GUESS I NEED TO TRY AND BE MORE POLTICALLY CORRECT.
Stay in tune....

That is a really nice C3 car. I have used that term for describing vehicles in the past also. In fact about 10 years ago I search out to find a 78 Ford Bronco usind that exact terminallogy. Once I bought the truck we 4 wheeled the sh$t out of it and extensivly modified the body, frame, suspension, engine, axles, ect. Now I wish it was original again, un-molested.
Damn could have done a better job getting in on the tow truck, (damaged lower valance) I know it's quite a task but rethink the process if something looks like it will get damaged. Just saying.
Well, it did not sell...failed to meet the reserve. But, more importantly is all the revisions he made to the ad. Even after all that, it got as high as 23K.
