blown 427 build
Hello CF, after a lot of research and talking with other sbc enthusiasts, I have decided to build a blown 427 from a 400 block. My goals aren't exactly what most would call humble as I am looking to push upwards 650 torque 
I haven't the specifics on all the components I want to use, but here's what I am sure of thus far:
2 bolt main
brodix 210 heads p/n 1028100-1
wieland 6-71
dual 500 carbs
msd 6
Yeah, the chassis is going to need a makeover I know. With the help of VB&P this shouldn't be a hassle. I have a 15K budget planned from engine to body, and I plan on sticking to it. Now for my questions:
Will my 4 speed muncie survive the power?
Where if anywhere, can I find a rotating assembly with the right comp ration for my application? (8:1 would be golden) assume 0.040" crushed gasket plus block deck length.
If an assembly for my goals doesn't exist, please give me your input on cylinder choice, rods, etc. Thanks
