Default New Horn Button

Since I bought her 8 years ago I haven't had a horn button...

Bought it finially from Wilcox....
Masked and painted the tele lock ring...

And just popped it on...
It REALLY looks a thousand times better with it on...

Just that over the years there have been sooo many things more important...but there it is !

My car had a stereo situation like yours as well. Here is another small thing that makes a big difference. Do a search for fp306 in google. Its under $15 and just pops on too.

So, who knows where to buy a replacement center emblem insert?

Awaiting reply, no wait, I will die first.

Good Job on the button. Looks great!

Larry,

GM used to service the center emblem separately.. but now all the emblems are in reproduction except the 1982 emblem. I'm not sure what the difference was in the emblem for 1981 or 1982, I'll have to try to research this one. In the old GM book we used to have three emblems. 1977 and 1979, 1978 and 1980-1982. All the emblems will interchange, the stud pattern is the same. So running the 1980-1981 emblem shown on our site will work just fine. How different is it.... Again I don't know. Anyone care to enlighten me?

I believe that the '82 horn button was a padded leather button with a differently shaped logo and circular lettering.
