Headlight actuators
I removed and rebuilt both headlight actuators this weekend. I got great pleasure in doing this and seeing the ends results but I think these were the originals and the nuts and bolts seemed to be welded (rusted) together. Hopefully, I wont out live this update and have to do it again. Tough job with a bad back but again a lot of gratifaction and the headlights work great.

You used the word 'pleasure'. It's nice to hear that someone else has pleasure when working on these old cars!!!!
I hope you DO live SO long that it does need to be done again!!!!!!

I did this same repair 4 years ago, boots, seals and clips. I painted them and fought with the springs like we all do. Then, the car basically sat in my garage for 4 years. The short story is that the newly replaced seals cracked before I ever got to use them.
So I just did the job again. Fun.
