Thanks guy's
Tires are Dunlop sport 5000 245/50/17 was going for 255/50/17 but wouldn't clear the front/front fender flair
I was really disapointed because the 255 REALLY filled the wells nicely. but it was not to be. and I wasn't going with stagered size front/rear because you can't rotate. there isn't many tires to choose from in the 245/17 class and there isn't many
AMERICAN
made tires in that size either
I just couldn't bring myself to put a foriegn name tire on MY AMERICAN classic. Kumo and toyo just wouldn't look right
. thats why I put the Dunlops on and I am Very happy with them, they have a very nice look to them and are very quiet
Dunlop is made in the USA .......??? right ?? I hope !!!!!
yes this is my car before I repainted it
and yes........... I know all about the ride hieght

Yes Sir; I'm having a 1979 L-82 hood painted two tone, white, with the Gray in the center, for my 1982. The painter talked me into leaving the L-82 Trim on the hood, in lieu of filling the holes. I really would like to paint the whole car with the Gray. Another project maybe someday. That is a beautiful car. Have a great day. Gene
