OK, forget compression testing
Well, I started on the path you guys recommended..... First thing I found was that the spark plugs were OLD. R44S.....discontinued for a long, long time. At least half of them I could remove with NO WRENCHES...they were that frickin' loose. I replaced them with R43S plugs. The dwell is holding steady at appx 30 at idle and falling a bit as accelerated..... The timing looks way off, but some moron painted my pulley chevy orange, so that's a project for tomorrow. I did do a short test drive, and the car is much more responsive, and idles much smoother....Hmmmmm Feeling better...thanks guys!!!!!
