Removing Paint from Aluminum Side Pipe Covers
I have a set of aluminum (I assume) side pipe covers that I took off my car (1970). They are NOT fiberglass and when closely examining them after removal, they look very similar to the Paragon ones I purchased from Ecklers. These are complete with insulators . The previous owner had my old ones painted to match the car. I have already purchased the paragon reproduction ones and installed them. I am wondering it it is possible to have the paint removed from my old aluminum ones? I am hoping to sell them to recover some of the cash I paid out for the new ones. Any thoughts or suggestions or even if someone is interested in them, please let me know.
