keys locked inside 1973 corvette (Help)

I agree. You wouldn't want to give this info to just anyone even if they own a C3. We might end up with a rash of people stealing their own cars! It would be better to make sure someone has a Secret Squirrel Decoder Ring first.

Only honest people would need this 'secret' method to prevent damage to their Vette from frustration trying to get in.........a crook merely walks up to the car with a 'sparkplug and shatters the window and their in......2 seconds or less and everything inside is gone......or the whole car in 15 seconds.......they can pick and chose the poor Vette owner cant......
are there crooks on the forum? the ones that got my 84 twice were not forum members and the last time for good......I still look for a Red 4 speed coupe with Saw-blades

Do you people think that C3 owners are the only ones that read these threads?
A lot of weird stuff happens on open forums. example: Do you people know who DB was? Do you know what happened to all the OG's that jumped ship?
Some information is better left to face to face conversations.

Corvette C3 Opening
I would like a PM with this information if you'd be so kind. I have been a locksmith in South Dakota for over 30 years and have always struggled to open C3s. I'm not a car thief, promise! I actually have a customer right now that is locked out of one.

This why....
To be honest with you I have always been leery of posting this vid on the open forum and sending it to members that are very very new from the standpoint of I could be helping someone steal someones car .
Please don't take offense.
What do you guys that have seen the vid think,am I being too careful ?
Should I post it or keep it to just PMs ?

Keep it amongst ourselves! This is why on a recent episode of Junkyard Empire....the mechanics found 4 kill switches in the car and they would only work in order!
I already told the story of how my neighbor mislaid his keys and the ign switch key from my 69 GTO Judge started his car.
VW just had a little fiasco about the amount of times they 'repeat the key code'.

I need some help guys. I'm locked out of my 81. I've tried everything I know including AAA with no luck.
If someone could PM me some direction, it would be much appreciated!

I'm in the "don't lock it" camp. I don't leave anything of value in there. If they want the radio, at least I won't have to replace a window too...
I once parked my custom '65 Buick Riviera on the street, not in the driveway, for a week before I realized the keys were in the ignition...

I carry a spare round head key (the one that works in the door locks) in my wallet. It's flat and hardly takes up any space. If I happen to lock my keys in the car, no problem. I just use the key from my wallet to get into the car. Simple!
