Lizzard Skin?
I need to pull my seats, so while they're out I thought I would try to do something about the heat coming through the floor. I have new carpet that came with a heat shield, and I shut off the water to the heater core, but it still gets really hot. I went for a long drive yesterday and got caught in a rain storm. I had to put the tops on and roll up the windows, it was like an oven in there!
Anyway, I remember a post last year about "Lizzard skin", a special paint that is supposed to reduce heat transfer on metal parts. I thought I would paint my floorpans with that to see if it helps.
Does anyone know where to buy it or how to make it?
Thank you,
-Jay
