I did the same thing last year. I got a storage unit when they did a special and dropped the price. I have my vette parts in there while I am working on it. Amazing how much it helps to have a good place to store stuff. What I did was label every box and take a picture of the contents and saved them on my computer. That way I find what I want by looking at the pictures go find "Box C" or whatever and dig out my item. Based on my other post on here it looks like I will be digging out box 10 soon....It works great!

Nice work on the fold away table, Mewn. You and the others who posted pics shared great ideas. Thanks.

I never got a grip on the proper fabricating of wood; my Pop always enjoyed telling his friends that I was a wood butcher. I'm better now but certainly, nothing like you fellas.

Thanks again for explaining your ideas.

What was the floor like before you re did it?

I had gray cement stain on it. Took me TWO WEEKS to get that off! Ihad to use a chemical stripper and do 2 foot by 2 foot sections at a time. I wanted to make sure the epoxy was going on to bare cement for a good bonding.

I did my garage one half at a time. I moved everything to one side, then when finished moved everything to the other side.

I like the fold down idea, may have to do that in mine. I have been thinking about the epoxy floor as well. My brother has had that in his for a few years now and they seem pretty indestructable. They have pulled several motors and are always using jack stands and floor jacks on one project or another with no damage.
