Door panel, please help me!!
I just recently am having a problem with my drivers side door with the door not responding to the handle. it wont unlack itself from the car. thank god i didnt close it cause i would have to take the whol;e door panel apart to click something in there. help please. ive tryed compariing both sides but i cant see a difference.

It sounds like the rod inside is either bent or something has come loose. Its hard to diagnose without more detail. I would suggest getting an assembly manual and comparing yours to the various illustrations of the door latch assembly.

What year is your car? On earlier C3s, the inside door panel is relatively easy to remove. There are 4 screws around the edge, two screws holding the door pull on that have to come out, and you have to pop off the "Jesus clips" on the window crank and lock ****, then the panel slides off of the handle. Once the panel is off, you have access to pretty much everything. The door panels were like that at least until '72, I'm not sure after that.
