Looks sweet, assuming the bottom of the #2 body mounts where the large bolt behind the kick panel is as clean on both sides as the pix seem to indicate....

look close at the windshield chrome, through the glass at the vin tag...any rust stains evident?? if not....I have to say good to go....given the pix in evidence....looks cleaner then mine...

that overspray can be corrected with some Walmart buck/can black paint....

Your showing a 40 YO car that has over spray on it. ??? what do you want to know....yes it has been painted at one time and I am guessig it was painted green, if it is still the original color it is Elkhart green mine was a Very Brady shade of green.

I would not get hung up on over spray find the thread on how to buy a C3 and worry about the real stuff, birdcage, doors lining up (gaps) original motor and trans ect.

I don't think he posted those pictures to show off the paint overspray.

Default Looks great.

Looks great. Take the rear-view mirror off and the windshield header trim and A-pillar trim. If there is no rust there, you are in real good shape.

Inside:

Look for rotted carpet from years of water leaks.

Outside:

Check under the rear of the car for body damage/repair around the bumper mounts.

Pull the front lower grills out and look for damage/repair around the front fenders & nose area.

Hi m,
From these additional pictures, the car still looks solid to my eyes.
The carpet pad has been replaced with something else. Does that matter to you? I'd think not.
Regards,
Alan

What's the rest of the car look like?

If you can get him to remove inner rear veiw mirror and pad cover(header). If it is in good shape then I think you have a decent buy here. If you want to see a bad one I have the before and after pics in my profile under the parts section. Looks good so far.Any motor and exterior pics
