oh man, here we go...
Man! What a long nasty winter!
First run out...power steering hose went. NP..got my friends at Wilcox to send me some.
Detailed her up and took the wife out for a cruise. Running beautiful...
next morning...snapped accelerator cable..Damn if you don't need to be part monkey, part circus performer to get at that thing. What a PITA!
So get that in..thanks again to friends at Wilcox and don't you know...odometer freezes. Speedo fine..trip cable working...
So to all my friends on the Forum...any easy way to diagnose this? I hate to pull apart dash to get at the speedo when I can finally get the old girl out.
Any help would be appreciated...

This causes the first worm (1) to **** and eat the teeth out of the first worm (A) and second worm (B) gears... They drive the odometer!
Common issue and one that can be repaired only with removal.
Drive it like you stole it.. This is a winter project so drive the car and enjoy it! You can't break it bad enough that I can't fix it..
