During my 2 minute commute to work this morning...the engine light came on for maybe 10 seconds...then went off. Any sort of concerns...or is this quasi normal?
Intermittant light usually means that a sensor is beginning to fail. If it threw a code (it may not have), you might get a clue as to which sensor it is. Before changing it out, try removing and cleaning all electrical connectors and re-trying to see if a dirty connection is the problem.

mine did the same and i could not pull any codes off if the computer, and It has stopped doing that since I cleaned all of the connectors. Good Luck.
I'm sorry but when you guys say clean all electrical connectors...you mean what exactly. Because in my mind that could mean so many things(I have a very aggravating mind)
The sensors are connected into the electrical system via mating connectors (with wiring running either direction). Pull the connectors apart. Use Q-tips, etc. and cleaner to clean crud/corrosion off the contacts (both connectors). Put a little dielectric grease on the contacts (prevents future corrosion) and stick them back together. Does that explain it?
[You might do the same on all of the ECM cable/ground connections.]
My "Check Engine Light" came on for my DD (01 Mitsu Spyder GT with 120K miles). I had the light checked at AutoZone...02 Sensor for $80. A week later same thing, back to AZ. Another 02 Sensor...price $80. I said screw it and drove the thing with out replacing the second sensor. Light stayed on for about a year and suddenly went out. Self correcting or...maybe the light burned out. Either way, lights out and she still gets 26 MPG. I'm happy. Wouldn't do that with my Vettes though.

I gotcha. So go in the engine bay unplug all the connectors and clean em up...is that about right.
