Spare tire lock
In between doing things to my vette i was taking a look at the spare tire lock. Apparently i seem to be able to push the carrier aside and take it down, without taking the lock off. Is this normal ?

Hi B79,
When the lock is installed on the bolt properly, the slide pin in the lock holds the the carrier strap tight against the bolt's collar so the bolt can't be slid out of the strap.
