Has anybody got any info or used these mufflers?Their new and they sound awesome from the sound clips i heard and they are a straight through design that splits in the middle of the muffler. They sounded "ALOT" better then flowmaster and all other mufflers i heard. But the sound is different on our cars due to rear muffler design.Ive just been hearing alot about these mufflers lately, wondering if anybody knows about them.Go to www.cherrybomb.com website and listen to them, tell me what you think.Bill
You can listen to mufflers on websites all day but you'll never know how they sound until you put them on your car. Too many variables to affect the sound. Depending on exhaust manifolds, headers, diameter of your pipes, pipe material (aluminized, stainless, etc.), camshaft, and on and on! What you put on your car can sound completely different on my car. You just have to try them.

The 'Cherry Bomb muffler has been around for ages..A product of Maramount Muffler corp that was purchased by Walker Muffler and should be available through Walker....Its a glass pack 'Hollywood straight through muffler....thats all...
Duane is right, the engine determines the sound, not the muffler ...No two old Vettes will normally sound the same...if it was a new Vette, then factory engines will sound the same...at least they should

I thought that this muffler was a fairly new one for cherry bomb? I know all about the two cars not sounding alike,BUT,you can get an idea about how it will sound ,like flowmasters they all have that certain tone to them, some sound better then others ,but, they all have that same tone, you know that its a flowmaster, you know what i mean.

and one of the more important (at least to me) things is the drone (or lack of same) when you drive the car at highway speed. many "mufflers" aren't designed to balance harmonics when used in pairs (like true dual exhausts) and they produce a drone that will give you a headache in very short fashion after just a bit at highway speeds. some magnaflow models are famous for that.

Yes you are right,i dont like or want the drone.Flowmasters are bad for that.I have found that most straight through design mufflers dont have a drone. And they are not as loud as you might think.
