Funny how there's no mention to being a repaint (no 1980 two-tones) along with the aftermarket 140mph speedo.
Nice car tho, i wouldn't mind cruising in it
It is a nice looking car. However it looks like the back is sitting too high and the front is sitting too low. Air shocks in rear, tired springs in front? The mix matched black and blue interior is kind of meh. For anyone looking to get a nice cruiser it might be a good deal. Would like to see more pictures from under the car though.
There were 80 two-tone 1980 models as part of a paint pilot project. All of these cars had trim tags showing an E. To my knowledge, none of the E code cars has shown up in public. The eBay listing does not show or mention the trim tag. I'll go with repaint until the E code shows up.
VIN code 6 is correct for the L-82; underhood pics also appear to be correct for L-82. Ditto for the TH350. You couldn't get the L-82 with 4 speed in 1980.
Seats should be dark blue leather to match the rest of the interior. Aftermarket steering wheel. Looks like correct 80 stereo.
Looks like a nice car just the same.

Huh, didn't know that. Cool to always be learning something on here. Anymore details? Could anyone buy those cars, what colors did they come in, were they all base models?
