Thanks to all who have answered questions I have asked. 12 weeks of hell in 100 degree heat, two steps foward and one step back. The car has new suspension front and rear, diff. yokes, power steering pump, brake calipers, and master brake cyilinder. The rear struts are aftermarket. It turned out great. The tires were new, but the car sat for a year so it vibrates and makes a chopping sound over 40 mph. The tires are out of round. Getting new ones today. The motor and trans is sound. I chirped the tires going from 1st to 2nd with an auto trans. I am happier than a pig in poop. All for $2500.I could'nt justify going OEM just too much money. Next is fixing the A/C and paint, electrical and Interior. That will be tough on the wallet. I am going to get help from Obama since It is a GM car. After it's completed, Thr car will get headers and a intake manifold. I am too lazy to put in a cam, it's a lot of work. (maybe later) I sure would like 30% more horsepower. A C5 is in my future. I am in no hurry.
Many people have asked if this car had something to do with my midlife crisis. Hell no, that was 10 years ago.
