81 Cruise Control Servo
I have looked everywhere (except where it's at) and can't find a servo for my 81 Vette. I've gone through the assembly manual and it shows one but it doesn't show the device mounted to the top of the transducer on my car. It has 2 wires and a vac line. I'm lost so I need help PLEASE.

the 'engagement switch is the the small phenolic block mounted with 2 sheet metal screws on top. there are 2 electrical blades on it. the 'servo' is the vaccum (power unit) module attached to the carburator. it pulls the linkage back when engaged. there are no wires on it.

the linkage system was the same on all cars and chevy trucks form '68-'84. i know, because the cruise control on my 1980 is the same unit that appeared on my 1972 Chevy Suburban. the only difference is that it had 3 wires on the switch instead of 2.

Did the '82 still use the old GM cruise servo system, or did they incorporate that into the ecm? I know there is a vacuum servo can and cable, but I don't recall any cruise transducer on my '84 (same set-up as the '82 CrossFire system, I think).
