If it was my car, I'd hope the fit for a purchased part is close, if not correct, to begin with BUT wouldn't you expect yourself or an experienced body shop to fit any body panel to match the gaps to OEM specs, or better?
That's for those of us who didn't already have those parts installed or mounted by PO's.
Optimum of course, if the added part was scheduled for paint shortly after install but fitted, none-the-less.

my issue isnt fit but more of a mold issue, the corners are to high..
