The manufacturer doesn't even recommend it unless storing for more than 6 months, I have never stored mine for more than 4-5. My tires have never noticably flat-spotted.
except that I can count on approx. 6 months storage with no engine starts or vehicle movement. Been doing it this way for over 30 years with toys, never a problem.

I use these on my Plymouth and they work well. I can push the car up around the garage too. No flat spots.

That's why I specified why I don't use fuel stabillizer. If I lived in the great white north like you do, I would probably have a different view. In the dirty jerz, I have sometimes gotten my car out for some December miles, and the year before last, we got a cruisable day on a weekend in January, which I took advantage of.

As far as car covers, I have always covered mine to keep the dust off etc, but I have also wondered recently if the sunlight coming through the garage windows would degrade the paint over time. I figure the UV is probably doing most of the damage, and most of that gets stopped by the glass in the windows, so it probably doesn't make much difference. Either way, I don't think you need anything fancy. When I had my first one, money was tight and I used to cover it with old sheets. It seemed to work fine. Now I have your basic breathable flannel-type cover that the seller let me keep when I bought the car, it works fine too.

Wouldn't make any difference. Gasoline producers state themselves that gas is good for a year if kept in a sealed container. C3 tanks qualify as sealed containers.

Decided to bite the bullet and bought a set of flat stopper ramps. Received them today. Instructions advise to use them if storing for longer than one month. Staying with my "it can't hurt" philosophy I will try them out this winter when I store my Vette till Spring.
