I remember looking at VetteHound last year around this time as I was looking to buy. I saw VH and also noticed the high number of chrome bumper cars that were going for crazy cheap. It smelled bad to me then and it still does.
Do a Google search on VH and you'll see lots of other folks have a similar view that they're scams.

Had another nice looking blue chrome bumper car for 6500?????????
I saw a 1972 Corvette on vette hound and the price is 5200 is this too good to be true
"disability equipped" was not a standard feature in 1972.
I'm note sure what equipment was added, but this car looks hacked to me from the speakers to the exhaust to the rims. Between the price and pictures, keep looking.
a simple phone call is all that is needed. ask the right questons, feel the owner out for inconsistancies.
1. send more pics
2. title issues?
3. rust issues?
understand that if it was too good to be true, it would be sold my now. don't think that you are sneaking in an grabbing it ahead of everybody else, epsecially when you found it in a national publication that thousands of people are searching for bargains in.
otherwise it is either priced fairly and the right buyer has not come along, or it is a scam or has a characteristic in which the seller can't even sell it a that price.
