Default brake problem

just replaced a brake line in a 1977 with disc brakes . Bleed all four wheels in recomended sequence lr,rr,lf rf,due to the car sittig with no brake fluid in the system, because it had a leak thru the previous months while it sat idol.My question is, why can't I build any pressure to get a good pedal.I bleed each wheel a number of times ,I don't see any leaks, and the pedal still goes to the floor. What am I missing?

probably air in the master. try bench bleeding it, then gravity bleed the calipers.

Concur with 68. Tried the pressure bleeding route and could never get it. Bench bled the master cylinder and then gravity bled the calipers over a long day.

Though you probably did this, I will ask anyway. Did you bleed both sides of the calipers on each rear brake? Did you lightly rap the caliper bodies with a small hammer to help move any trapped bubbles inside the calipers while you are bleeding the calpers?
