I bought this 75 stingray to resell. Not knowing much about 'vettes I assumed it was o.k. 1 responder to my ad claims that is a 78 or newer because of the rear window. Any ideas? I wish it had the vertical glass but figured this was a coupe or something. It looks like a hatchback.

Your hood and gas tank cover what does it have on it. what does it look like. You sure dont have a 75. What year does the Title say have you checked the vin # to the # on the title??? something does not sound quite right!!!!!!!!!!!!
Title says 75. has the big window like a 78. Transferred title with no problem but I haven't actually looked at the vin. Think I'm in trouble! Be back in a bit with the cars vin and title vin
I prefer the original! how difficult would it be to change it back? Or in this case would it be worth it? I don't want to spend 4k to end up with a car worth 4k!

Since you bought the car to resell... I suggest just selling it like it is. Someone will buy it. If you dump money into it, you probably are not going to get anything back. Good luck.
Sell as is. Too much work to restore to stock. From the one picture I can see:
- 78 up rear glass
- 69-73 rear end
- Strange bumper that is unlike any Corvette
- '76-79 Corvette lettering
- Missing side vents in front fenders.
- L-88 hood (looks like it from this angle)

Actually... that is a picture of a '72 that I posted to show that it is a pretty common custom.
