Default Pulling a C3 from the back?

I want to pull my 82 out of the garage but have a incline to pull it up. Where is a safe place to tie some tow straps to on the back of the car and pull it?

you might try using a Y strap there are slots in frame for towing just in front of rear wheels you might have to fabricate the Y strap to do this but should work

Wow! That's a good question. Maybe wrap a strap around the top of the differential. There's not much else back there to get a good hold on or that is strong enough to pull it up much of a slope.

there are (should be) 2 steel supports just below/ behind the bottom of the bumper on bother sides. About 2 feet apart that hooks can be hooked too. They are flat and look to be about 6 inches wide each

I will check these locations, car has been sitting for about 5 years so I would venture to say all gas in the tank is bad but will try starting it first. Basically have to get it up this incline so I can get my 90 vette in the garage.

I would suggest putting in at least 5 gallons of fresh fuel in the tank if you want to try starting it.
