Whazzit?

I think this bracket is from the fan shroud of my 68 327/300, based upon its size and shape. It was off the car when I got it, so I can't be 100% certain.

Anybody know for certain?

Did someone drill out the spotwelds and separate it from the rest of the shroud?

Mine is all one piece.

BTW, there were no 327's in '69.

No way for me to know if someone detached it, as I said, it wasn't installed when I got the car. You are probably right about detaching the bracket from the shroud. As I recall, taking the shroud on and off was a PITA. I'll bet this simplified the matter.

yes, I know there were no 327's in 69. Note my usename. 68sbcoupe. It was a typo. but I fixed it.
