Not to stereotype, and I don't want to offend some folks on here who I know have trucks, but...
Around here in CT, I find that the biggest trucks are usually driven by the biggest @$$wholes. They act like they own the road, with their cummins diesel with huge 4 inch smoke stacks rising up out of their beds because they are secret wannabe big rig drivers. If I had a quarter for every time I've had to slam on my breaks because one of these ****** decides he wants to change lanes without looking, I'd have finished my project 76' by now.
Glad you weren't hurt, and good luck with the repair, I hope insurance covers everything, and I hope you have receipts for that rebuilt motor.
Like anything the car can be fixed, long as you're ok. Good to find a shop with a computer scan paint match system. Think that's something, check out this story. Guy bought a new Vette that had a strange rear end noise. The dealer took it and gave him a loaner. They were diagnosing it on the road and somehow got hooked on a semi. Guy got caught in a traffic jam in the loaner because of a wreck and finally passed a totally mangled new Vette on the side as the problem. Turns out it was his car. Imagine that. Dealer gave him a new one though.
Guy? Gal?
Old or young?
On the phone? Reading a newspaper? Putting on makeup?
Intoxicated?
How did they explain their actions?
Old Black man. Said the traffic lights weren't working. Officer said the lights were working and he had a green, but no arrow.
I was the only vehicle in my lane for a good 1000 yards. I don't know how he missed a bright red vette.
The shop I had it taken to just said they can't work on it, they only work on newer cars. BS. I have seen them restore C2's before. So to Kevin it goes!
I also have my lawyer involved to make sure things get done right, and I have 9K worth of receipts for the work done 2 years ago if his insurance tries giving me a hard time.
Well, Kevin called this morning and said that they are swamped and can't work on it.
I'm at a roadblock here and not sure where to take it.
Anyone know of any shops that'll work on it in the shreveport metro?
