Im a daddys girl and he is letting me have his 1982 corvette on one condition. I need to find a mechanic who works on corvettes. My dad told me most mechanics like to think they know how to work on corvettes.
Any advice for a corvette mechanic in Southern California San Bernardino area?

Thank you
Post a pic, ( and not of the car we all know what 82 vettes look like )
ya might find a mechanic to work for free ...............
no guys lets help her out if she likes corvette's and she's welling to work for it and learn then we should be willing to help her and if not for her then do it for the corvette don't let that car die. Keep looking and don't lose hope
She's going to need someone who's good with the crossfire engine too, so it doesnt get ripped out and have a carb put on it first time she has an issue.
It does say crossfire injection on the front on the car. I have no idea what that means.
And Santa Ana is about an hour away, Im thinking if I have car issues that might be to far for me to go to, but thank you for the suggestion.
Is there somewhere I could look up for a corvette shop? I tried google and it didnt really help much
If you can't find an actual Corvette shop, you might go to some classic car events and ask around about good classic car mechanics in general. You can ask about your fuel injection system in detail when you talk to those specific shops. But most of the skills necessary to work on a Corvette transfer well from other classic cars in the same era.
