So Ive finally deduced that my turn signal problem is due to some faulty wiring in the fuse block. Now, Im 5"11 and I dont fit in there real well, but Ive gotta pull this thing and fix all the gremlins. Sure, I could presidential engineer it, but I want this to last. Ive loosened the two bolts that hold it in....now how do I separate it and pull it out?
locate the fusebox on the firewall side,
undo the bolt in the middle,...AFTER you dissconnect the battery !
the box splits into inside / Outside 2 peices.
the fuse box would only supply power to the turn signals,
any problem other than that, and the problem is some other place.
Hi S,
Even after you remove the bolt that holds the engine compartment side and the interior side of the fuse block, the interior side of the block isn't going to move more than a few inches unless you start diconnecting the dash harness connections from the dashboard switches, lights, and gauges.
It's a nasty job to work under there unless you're the size of a 5 year old!
Good Luck!
Regards,
Alan

Theres all sorts of bad mojo behind the fuse block. Some of the fuse connectors themselves arent powering correctly. (Corrosion, splits, etc)
