Actually, the 'corporate blue' isn't quite right.
Did my black79 with it a few years ago. I did notice it was bluer than original.
This past year I detailed both my white79 and 78SA.
Had a can of both corporate blue and a can of chevy blue in my hand.
Decided to try the chevy blue. Had the damper off and sprayed half to compare. Could hardly tell the half I painted.
What I've been using is Plastikote.
The corporate is no. 221
Chevy blue is 201, BUT, the new cans labeled 201 are way wrong! Need to find an OLD can with the plain cap.
I called around to a few auto parts stores to find more old cans.
I like the Plastikote, at least the OLD Plastikote, because it can be second coated any time. The Duplicolor has warnings about wrinkling and stuff.
