difference in these 2 vettes?

difference in these 2 vettes?
hey guys I have a stupid question here......2 vettes I looked at have different type of looks at the front end. I dont really know what they call it for a lack of better terms i will call it ground package....1 of them has a flared type fender on the bottom and around the side. i want to know if this is something that someone has added to car after they bought it or is it from factory or is it 2 different types of vettes with same year I am talking about a 1979 model...I hope someone can understand what I am trying to say....I tried to post some pics but so far no luck

I don't know if it was an option....but they 79s didn't come with the front spoiler stock. If it flares a lot its after market any way...the stock front spoilers aren't too umm flarey lol. Just Google 1979 Corvette and look at the stock pics

Sounds to me that it is an '80. That model, as well as the '81-82, had an integrated front and rear spoiler. The front one flowed into the front wheel well flare and the rear was integral with the bumper cover.

Here ya go. My 79s.
The white one has the factory "D80"(pace car style) spoiler option(included the rear add on spoiler). About 6800 79s came with it, but I'm sure others were installed by dealers and owners over the years.
