Tips for installing side louver trim?
Hey, I am about to install new side louver trim accent pieces on my '69 that came without it from the factory so there are no pre drilled holes. I have all the hardware for the job. It looks pretty straight forward but before I start drilling holes in my car I thought I would see if anyone had any pointers that might save me some trouble before I go at it. I am mostly concerned about drilling into something that sits behind the farthest back louver since I cannot reach behind it to see what is there. Thanks.

Here is a link from a prior discussion, put a stop on the drill bit so it only penetrates the fiberglass.

Also, remember that the one louver is painted flat black once the trim is installed.
