Here in Australia, we have been getting these ads on the ABC (Australian Broadcasting Corporation) telling us that the new episodes of Dr. Who are "coming soon....." but without giving us a date. It's frustrating for the fans Down Under as we are always last cab on the rank when it comes to receiving top rating TV shows.
However, for those of us who actually have a TARDIS, we already know what the show is about, especially if one's name is "John Smith"...........
Regards from Down Under (and other places in the Universe).

A few years ago I decided to watch every Tom Baker era episode. Sat through all 170 something. New series is really good too.
When I first heard they were bringing Dr. Who back, Tom Baker was the one they had to measure up to to satisfy me. And, have they ever done so, as IMHO the new series has been most excellent. Lots of good episodes, including the instant classic Christmas special with Michael Gambon. Still have a copy of "The Five Doctors", btw.
I'm thinking a C3 would have made a great time travel ship for Captain Jack.
