82 Vette
A few months ago I seen and 82 Vette with the two tone silver/blue color combo. But what made the Vette so much different from the others out there was the 2 tone lite blue/silver cloth seats. Can anyone out there tell me how many Vettes were sold with this, I think, pretty color combo? I was unable to buy it at the time but would love to find another one again.

They built 1667 Vettes with the silver/blue paint combination and according to the GM Specs, the only seat color available with it was the silver/dark blue. I agree, it is a nice combo.

DB-SGY does not indicate a two-tone Dark Blue & Silver Gray interior. There was no such interior available. The DB-SGY indicates that the 82 two-tone Silver over Dark Blue exterior, was available with either Dark Blue or Silver Gray (also called Slate Gray) interiors. Both interiors were available in either cloth or leather.

Are you saying the seats are two-tone? If so that is not factory. They should be dark blue or silver-grey but not both.

I'm not sure how accurate that link is or maybe i am reading it wrong. I have white exterior with dark red cloth. I don't see it listed on the link.

Its there, exterior code 10, interior code 74C. Its not a package, ala carte!

That car is the 'one-and-only', super-duper, special package '82 car built especially for Donald Trump...to celebrate his new (and now, much maligned) hair-do. At the time, that "Big Hair" 80's look, with that swept back & over design, was just 'killer'. As I remember, everyone was jealous of Donald Trump's hair.
Anyway, that is one special car and you should put it up on E-Bay with the above 'provenance'. I'm sure it will net lot$ o' buck$, being that special.
