Default GM options information on a c3

Where can I find GM options information on early LT-1's (1970-1972)?
Thanks.

Each year Chevrolet sends to the Dealers, a Dealer Sales Album which gives both options and specific standard features for the Corvette model (along with the other Chevy model lineup). These would provide the information you seek.

Also the model year Corvette Order Form from the dealership for customers to order options available on their Corvette model.

There aren't a lot of options available to the '70 to '72 models. Options for these models include: A31,J50,N40,C50,N37,C50 ('72 model only),UA6,U69 or U79,PO2, PT7, PU7, CO7/CO8 (convertible model only), G81 (optional axle ratios-economy/performance),custom interior.

Also a no cost option choice of manual transmissions either M20 or M21

A total of 53 LT-1 ZR1 option packages included VO1, J56, F41, M22 as mandatory options. That's pretty much it.

The GM Archive is helpful:

http://www.gmheritagecenter.com/gm-h...tion-kits.html

Click on the link, scroll down to "Corvette" and click on "show", select/click the desired year, accept the usage agreement, and a pdf with vehicle information downloads. Examine the pdf, it is a copy of dealer ordering information, RPO codes (regular production options) manufacturer's data submissions, advertising, etc for the year in question. Years vary as to quantity of material. This is a pdf of the old vehicle information package available from GM. You can still get a paper copy but it costs for reproduction - pdf is free.

The LT-1 was an option. What are you wanting to now? The Corvette Blackbook will probably help.

You can read about them here:

Good pics of them here:

Google LT-1 and you'll probably kick up several links.
